Your words stay yours.

Auri does not track or store what you type. Notes and chats are encrypted and stored in your iCloud, and AI requests are sent without any personal identifiers. Nothing is every used to train AI models. Auri Voice can run entirely on your Mac, with history stored there. If you choose a cloud model, the text or audio needed for the request is encrypted and sent to the provider you select.

Is Auri free?

Yes. The keyboard, dictation, writing tools, Ask Auri, chat, transcription, and notes all work on the free plan, which counts minutes and daily uses. Auri Pro removes the limits.

What does Auri Pro cost?

$10 a month billed yearly at $120, or $17 monthly. One subscription covers iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Auri Voice for Mac is its own app with its own free plan.

Does the Auri keyboard work in every app?

Yes. Auri is an iOS keyboard, so it works anywhere you can type: Messages, Mail, WhatsApp, Slack, Safari, Notes. It stays out of password and card fields by design.

How do I switch to the Auri keyboard?

Turn it on under Settings, Auri, Keyboards, with Allow Full Access. Then hold the globe key on any keyboard and pick Auri.

What does Full Access mean?

It lets the keyboard reach Auri's servers for dictation and writing tools. Auri never appears in password or card fields and does not collect what you type.

Which languages does Auri support?

The keyboard types in 83 languages with every layout. Dictation and transcription cover 58 languages. Translation works into 31.

What can Ask Auri do on my iPhone?

Read and create calendar events and reminders, look up contacts, find places near you, search and send Gmail, and summarize your steps and sleep. Every action waits for you to confirm, and each source is yours to allow or turn off in Settings.

Is what I type private?

Auri does not collect what you type. Notes and chats are encrypted in your own iCloud, AI requests carry no personal identifiers, and nothing is used to train AI models.

Can Auri transcribe a meeting or a YouTube video?

Yes. Record it, import an audio or video file, or paste a YouTube link. Auri transcribes it with speaker labels and turns it into meeting notes, a summary, or a checklist.

Can I add my own words and names?

Yes. Add them once and every dictation, transcript, and answer knows them. Words you add follow you across Auri and Auri Voice.

Does Auri work offline?

On the Mac, Auri Voice can run a local speech engine and dictate offline. On iPhone, an on-device English engine transcribes recordings offline. Keyboard dictation, writing tools, and chat use the cloud.

Does Auri work on Mac and Apple Watch?

Yes. On the Mac, the Auri app carries your chats and notes, and Auri Voice types dictation at your cursor in any app. On Apple Watch you can ask Auri, record a voice note, or dictate straight into your iPhone or Mac.

Does my work sync across devices?

Notes, recordings, and transcripts sync through your iCloud. Chats follow your Auri account. Words you add follow you across Auri and Auri Voice.

How is Auri different from Apple's dictation?

Auri cleans up what you say, including filler words and changes of mind, and it comes with a full keyboard, writing tools, and Ask Auri, so one assistant works in every app.

How do I cancel Auri Pro?

Auri Pro is an App Store subscription. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Auri there. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
